My name is
Bwire Ian Jeremiah.
I am 25 years old, born and raised in Uganda. This is the story of where I come from, what shaped me and why I started Jere's Safaris.
Growing up in
Uganda.
I grew up with two siblings and a single mother. Life was not easy and in 2017, it got harder. My mother suffered a stroke that left her unable to work. At 19, the future felt uncertain.
But I held on. I pushed through high school and finished. Giving up was never an option. Uganda had given me everything I knew its forests, its warmth, its people and I was determined to make something of it.
Then in 2020, during COVID, everything changed.
A miracle in
the middle of a pandemic.
An opportunity
I never expected.
In 2020, Vision for Africa came into my life and offered me a place in their sponsorship programme. They gave me the opportunity to go to university something I had stopped believing was possible.
Through that programme, I was enrolled at African Bible University, where I completed my bachelor's degree in Business Studies. It was more than an education. It was a second chance.
People who
changed everything.
Through the Vision for Africa programme, I met Denise Wroble a generous and kind-hearted friend who sponsored me through my university years. Over time, we built a genuine friendship that went far beyond the programme.
Whenever Denise visits Uganda, we share the gospel, the love of Christ and the beauty of this country together. Her brother, Manuel, later offered to mentor me after I finished university.
Their family changed my life in ways I still can't fully express. The only way I know how to respond is to give back to other people, in whatever way I can.
I love Jesus Christ. I was born in a Christian family. And I use every opportunity to share and give back — with the love I have received from others.

every journey.
Starting Jere's Safaris was not just a business decision. It was a personal one. I have seen what generosity and kindness can do in a person's life, I have lived it. And I want to extend that same warmth to every visitor who comes to Uganda.
I started Jere's Safaris specifically to give German visitors and all those who come from abroad an authentic Ugandan experience. A real encounter with this country, from the perspective of someone who was born here.
Uganda is hospitable. Uganda is extraordinary. Uganda is the Pearl of Africa. And I want every person who visits to feel that.
Every journey you take with me is, in a small way, my way of saying thank you to everyone who believed in me when I had no reason to believe in myself.
